Former Indian cricketer and commentator Sanjay Manjrekar called the national cricket team’s fast bowler Haris Rauf the best ‘death bowler’ of world cricket in the current era.
Speaking to news, former Australian cricketer and commentator Tom Moody and Sanjay Manjrekar said that if Pakistani players were playing in the Indian Premier League (IPL), Haris Rauf would be the premium choice of every franchise.
Talking about other Pakistani players, he said that currently there are cricketers like Shaheen Afridi, Naseem Shah, Haris Rauf, and Ehsanullah in Pakistan’s fast bowling group.
Regarding batting, Sanjay Manjrekar said that among the batsmen, Fakhar Zaman would have been an interesting choice for some teams, I think that Rizwan is not an anchor player because he and Babar Azam get confused when they bat together.
On this occasion, Australian cricketer and commentator Tom Moody said that Shaheen Afridi would have been the first pick of the franchises in IPL, Pakistan has fantastic players like Shadab, Babar Azam, Rizwan, and Shaheen.
It should be noted that since 2008, national cricketers have not participated in the IPL event due to strained political relations.
