Ramiz Raja, the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), is now in Dubai to watch the highly anticipated Pakistan vs. Sri Lanka final with the hopes that Pakistan would win the match and take home the trophy.
Speaking to reporters, Raja admitted that the unpredictable performance of Babar Azam and company in the T20 Asia Cup 2022 has left him feeling “nervous and agitated” similar to what fans have experienced.
The PCB chairman remarked, “Pakistan team nai mera DNA kharab kardia hai [Pakistan team has disturbed my DNA],” adding that he didn’t experience such strain even when he was playing.
“I’m pleased with how they performed. See, regardless of the outcome, I and the supporters want them to play competitive cricket,” he continued.
