KARACHI: Ramiz Raja’s appointment as the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) was suggested by former Test cricketer Sarfraz Nawaz to Prime Minister Shehbaz.Raja was deemed unfit to lead a company like PCB by Nawaz in a statement he made on Tuesday.
The shocking and embarrassing loss of Pakistan’s cricket team to Zimbabwe in the T20 World Cup, he continued, “disappointed every Pakistani.”In his recommendations for drop-in pitches and a four-nation T20 tournament, the former fast bowler claimed Raja had displayed naivete.
