LAHORE: The plain regions of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and upper Sindh were expected to experience dense fog on Tuesday morning, according to the Meteorological Department.
According to the Met Office, the majority of the nation will see cold, dry weather over the course of the next 12 hours, while northern regions and north Balochistan will experience severely cold temperatures.
The weather is predicted by the Met Office to be very cold and dry in Srinagar, Anantnag, and Baramula, cold and dry in Jammu, and partly cloudy and very cold in Leh, Pulwama, and Shopian.
The Lahore-Multan motorways M2, M11, M4, and M5 have all been closed, and traffic police have had trouble controlling the flow of traffic in various parts of the nation owing to excessive fog.
The weather’s fog caused a disruption in the Allama Iqbal International Airport’s flight schedule. Later, the M1 (Islamabad and Peshawar) highway was opened to traffic by highway police.
