Sanjay Chouhan, the 62-year-old scriptwriter of the popular Irfan Khan film Paan Singh Tomar, falls dead in Mumbai.
According to the reports, Chouhan’s death was caused by a chronic liver condition for which he was treated. At 12:30, his funeral will take place at Mumbai’s Oshiwara cremation.
As the author of countless dialogues, scripts, and screenplays for numerous films, Sanjay made significant contributions to the Bollywood film industry. For instance, he contributed his literary talents to the movie I Am Kalam (2011). In the category of Best Story, the movie won a Filmfare Award.
He was also recognised for authoring Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster, Maine Gandhi Ko Nahi Maara, and Dhoop in addition to Paan Singh Tomar. For the Sudhir Mishra-directed movie Hazaaron Khwahishein Aisi in 2003, Chouhan authored a few dialogue lines.
The gifted screenwriter was raised in Bhopal where he was born. In the 1990s, Sanjay Chouhan created the crime drama Bhanwar, which debuted on Sony TV.
