FAISALABAD, Oct 10 (INP): The University of Agriculture has earned another global distinction as it has emerged 97th best university across the globe and 20th in Asia Pacific in the subject of agriculture sciences on the basis of Scientific Paper, according to National Taiwan University (NTU) Ranking 2014 released on October 9.
In the subject of Plant and Animal Sciences, it has attained 247 position worldwide and 42nd in Asia Pacific. Last year, in the NTU Global Ranking the University had emerged first-ever Pakistani institution ranked world top 100 universities in any category with 98th position. Now, it has jumped another number and has got 97th position in agriculture sciences with 55.4 score. Under the leadership of Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan, the UAF is opening new chapter of glory.
