
Islamabad: On Friday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif addressed the leaders of Qatar and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and urged them to strengthen their political and economic connections with both nations.
The UAE’s president, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, received warm congratulations from the prime minister on the occasion of Eidul Azha, according to the Prime Minister Office (PMO). The PM also expressed his best wishes for the UAE’s citizens’ continuing success and prosperity.
The two leaders reaffirmed their shared commitment to continue deepening and broadening the unique bilateral relationships that Pakistan and the UAE share. The UAE president wished the people of Pakistan a happy Eid in return for the prime minister’s greetings.
Sheikh Mohamed welcomed PM Sharif’s offer to visit Pakistan as well as the president of the United Arab Emirates.
The UAE is Pakistan’s main investment partner and business partner in the Middle East.
