LAHORE, Nov 28 (INP): Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) would be available in Pakistan next year and government will ensure complete support to textile industries.
He was talking to a delegation of representatives of textile industries that called on him here on Friday.
Shahbaz said that measures were being taken for gas supply to the textile industries of Punjab adding that they were putting every possible effort to meet the minimum requirements of gas in winter.
Short, mid-term and long-term measures were being taken to counter energy crisis, he assured.
CM Shahbaz informed that Prime Minister has ordered to build pipeline for LNG supply to Punjab.
Referring to the sit-in organizers, he said they had caused irrevocable damage to the economy in addition to delaying power projects.
