Lahore: PCB has appointed Muhammad Rizwan as the ODI and T20 captain while Salman Ali Agha will be the vice-captain.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi said in a press conference in Lahore that Mohammad Rizwan will be the captain of the white ball team while Salman Ali Agha will be the vice-captain.
He said that the central contract list has been released, the selectors worked hard, Babar Azam himself said that he does not want to be captain anymore to improve his batting, Babar Azam does not want to be the captain of the team, it is his right. Yes, he is an asset of Pakistan, such players do not come often.
Mohsin Naqvi said that the sub-mentor and selectors were of the opinion that Rizwan should be made the captain and Salman Ali Agha the vice-captain. All the attention should be given, we will give the necessary support.
Chairman PC said that the selectors and the team including Aqib Javed have worked hard in the last two Tests, it is hoped that the team will perform well in Australia and Zimbabwe as well.
