PESHAWAR, OCT 08 (INP): The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor, Sardar Mahtab Ahmad Khan has strongly condemned the killing of polio workers in an IED blast in Tehsil Safi of Mohmand Agency and a jawan of levy force in another incident on Wednesday and said that the elements involved in the heinous crimes will no more remain at large and will be brought to court of law and justice.
Expressing deep shock and sorrow over the loss of precious lives, the Governor said, “we have every regard for the workers who are performing this noble duty to protect the youngsters from the fatal disease and the nation will always remembers their sacrifices with great honour”. The concerned authorities, he added, have already be alerted to further beef up the security arrangements for the workers engaged in the polio vaccination arrangements and no effort will be spared to take proper care of them. The Governor has also prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls and courage to the bereaved families to bear the irreparable loss with patience.
