KARACHI: At least one girl died and five people were injured as an Islamic center near Ayesha Manzil area of Karachi rocked with grenade attack on Tuesday, reported.
The governor and Chief Minister Sindh have directed the police and rangers to tighten the security of Imam Bargahs.
According to the details, the attackers were riding a bike when they threw a grenade from above a bridge near Ayesha Manzil.
Those injured were rushed to the hospital. According to the police, the girl who died was identified as Batool.
The roads leading to the attack site were blocked for a while.
Various political and religious leaders including Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain condemned the attack.
The governor and chief minister Sindh took notice of the incident and summoned the report.
