The Pakistani side will go for New Zealand after its seven-match T20I series against England concludes on October 2 in preparation for the tri-nation series scheduled for this month (tomorrow).The group will depart as soon as the series is over and travel to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, before arriving in Sydney, Australia.
The Green Shirts will then be transported by air to Christchurch before continuing on to Auckland, where they will play Bangladesh and the Kiwis in a tri-series that starts on October 7.While the series’ final game will take place on October 14, Pakistan’s first encounter will be against Bangladesh.Groups of English team members will depart from Pakistan. Those scheduled to compete in the ICC T20 World Cup will take a direct flight from Pakistan to Australia.
After the tri-series, Pakistan’s team will compete in the much awaited mega T20 tournament before returning to Australia on October 15 for an exciting World Cup.On October 17 and 19, the team will practise in preparation for their World Cup games.
On October 16, the opening qualification games between Group A teams Sri Lanka and Namibia, as well as UAE and Netherlands, will kick off the T20 World Cup.
