The decision of the Anti-Terrorism Court came on the request to meet the PTI founder, the court dismissed the request and imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 on the petitioner.
The court ordered the petitioner to deposit a fine of Rs 10,000 in the Rawalpindi District Bar Dispensary, the court said that this fine will be spent on the treatment of poor patients.
The court said that the procedure for meetings in Adiala Jail has already been decided by the Islamabad High Court, the trial court cannot issue any contradictory order on the meetings.
The court remarked that Imran Khan is on bail in the GHQ attack case and not in judicial custody, two similar applications were filed earlier to meet the PTI founder, instead of approaching the relevant forum, the petitioner is wasting the court’s time.
It should be recalled that lawyer Faisal Malik had applied for a meeting with the PTI founder in the GHQ attack case on May 9.
