The Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif has requested the Supreme Court in his last address to the nation requesting a judicial commission consisting of a full court bench to inquire about this recent incident that took place on Thursday and ever since the law and order situation in the country has been out of hands due to the angry protesters damaging pubic property and causing delays to public commute by blocking roads.
Imran Khan has addressed the nation once again this being the second time after the incident of Thursday where an attacker opened fire towards the container where the Ex-PM was standing with his aids and addressing the participants of the long march in Wazirabad. His main focus was on the halt in registration of the FIR regarding the incident.
He further elaborated that the FIR was not being registered because he had named an army official as the accused. ISPR on the other hand has responded by saying such allegations regarding an army official are completely baseless and irresponsible and are uncalled for. There has been an important announcement in Imran Khan’s address that the long march will be continued from the same place where the incident happened from Thursday.
According to the announced plan by the leader in the next ten to fourteen days the long march will reach Rawalpindi depending on the speed of the march. There seems to be a stalemate regarding this situation now and the ball is in the court of the judiciary as all eyes are looking towards it to find out the true facts of the matter and timely release a judgment that states facts so that it can be made clear to the nation what really is going on behind the curtains as well as solve this situation of unrest all over the country.
The army is very beloved to this nation and Pakistan stands with dignity on the world stage because of this army that protects its borders from one end to the other and thus it is true that blaming and pointing fingers at the army and its officials on the media without any proofs should not be done by anyone and the army should be respected. However if there are reservations against an army official then it should be reported to the right forum such as judiciary or the army itself should carry out an investigation and make the reports public.
