ISLAMABAD, OCT 17 (DNA) -In line with the directives of the Prime Minister and with a view to improving service delivery to the general public for different consular services provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs through its Camp Offices in Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar and Quetta, a two-day workshop was held in Islamabad from 15 to 16.
The workshop was attended by the Officers in Charge (Deputy Chiefs of Protocol) of the four Camp Offices, besides senior officials from the Ministry.
The workshop deliberated on the ways to provide efficient, hassle free and timely consular services to the general public.
The Foreign Secretary chaired the Opening and Concluding Sessions which reviewed the existing practices, procedures and formulated measures for improving the overall service delivery and for establishing modern, state of the art consular halls.
The Officers in Charge also called on the Adviser to the Prime Minister on National Security and Foreign Affairs.=DNA
