Patriot Web Desk: Malik Noor Awan, the guy who made headlines after stopping Sheikh Rasheed outside the parliament house is a member of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN).
Noor Awan on Thursday stopped and grappled with Sheikh Rasheed, the PMLN worker accused Sheikh Rasheed of owing him 2.2 million rupees. The incident made headlines on electronic media. Sheikh Rasheed later claimed that the ‘attacker’ was planted by the PMLN, the ruling party.
Malik Noor Awan according to television reports is the President of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz in Japan. His facebook profile has dozens of pictures with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and other government high ups including President Mamnoon Hussain, Senator Ishaq Dar, Choudhry Nisar Ali Khan and Mushahid Ullah Khan.
It’s up to the ruling party now to explain as to whether Noor’s claims of Sheikh Rasheed owing him money are true or whether he was planted by the ruling party to stir a controversy, as claimed by Sheikh Rasheed.
