Actress Maimona Quddus has revealed that the trend of homosexuality in the showbiz industry grew from Lahore and this issue is more common there.
The actress said that although all this happens in Karachi too, parties are held openly in Lahore, while such activities should be limited to secret gatherings.
Maimona Quddus said this recently during a conversation in a podcast, where she openly expressed her views on the showbiz industry and the attitudes of people in different cities.
She said that there is more dirt in the Lahore industry and the people there are more wrong. According to her, people from Lahore do not have millions of rupees, but they talk about millions of rupees and are used to asserting superiority over others.
On the contrary, according to Maimuna Quddus, people from Karachi are more professional, to the point that professionalism has even left humanity behind. She said that people from Karachi do not establish any relationship without meaning, even when making a girlfriend, they make a deal. The actress said that in Karachi, a girl is offered this offer that if she becomes a girlfriend, what will she get in return, otherwise it is over.
During the conversation in the podcast, she also admitted that there is a practice of casting couch (sex in exchange for work) in the showbiz industry and it is not limited to women but men are also victims of it. She said that honor is not only for women but men also face harassment and exploitation.
