Two killed in firing on seminary

BANNU (INP): Two persons including a young student were killed and another injured when unknown miscreants opened firing at a seminary here on Monday.

Police said that unidentified armed men sprayed bullets at the seminary situated in Miriyan area of Bannu.

A young student among two persons were killed in the attack and another student of seminary sustained wounds.

The attackers managed to flee from the scene after committing the crime. The bodies and injured were shifted to hospital for medico-legal formalities.

Police claimed that the incident was outcome of old rivalry and the attackers wanted to kill a seminary teacher identified as Muhammad Idrees who survived in the assault.
