Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has said that a verdict has been given in a 190 million pound case today, which has proven theft. Like students of other universities, students of Al-Qadir University will also get scholarships and laptops.
She said this while addressing a ceremony to distribute checks among students in Okara under the Honahar Scholarship Program. She said that we have chosen the name Honahar Scholarship Program very carefully. I knew that there is no shortage of talented children in Punjab. I congratulate the Punjab Education Minister. Rana Sikandar Hayat has become a hero. We are also bringing laptops for students and the first batch of laptops has arrived.
She said that boarding facilities will be provided at Okara University. This year, we will also give a medical university to Okara. We did not ask anyone about their party while giving scholarships. Now even a child without resources can go to a big university. Next year, we will give fifty thousand scholarships and distribute one hundred thousand electric bikes among students.
While talking about politics, she said that I have come to talk from the heart today. The country needs peace, not chaos and disorder. I will never tell students to attack their country. The country needs unity, not hatred. The opponents criticized me personally in rallies. Today, those children who were deceived are in jail. Young people should not blindly believe social media.
He said that today the verdict in the 190 million pound case has been announced, which proved the theft, the students of Al-Qadir University will also get scholarships and laptops, I was punished for standing with my father and Nawaz Sharif was expelled on his Iqama, who served the country for 45 years.
