MULTAN: Three members of a family were killed in roof collapse following incessant rains here on Sunday.
According to rescue sources, roof of a dilapidated house caved due to heavy rain. As a result, four persons including two children were buried under the debris.
Local people and Rescue team recovered them from the debris and shifted to Nishtar Hospital where nineteen old Rehan, eight month old Ahmad and three month baby Zeenab died. The fourth injured, 21 year old Saleemullah is under treatment.
Rescue sources said that more than three hundred people are living in dilapidated houses and they have notbeen shifted to safer places. They feared that some majortragedy cold take place any time if the rains continued.
