ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will visit Saudi Arabia and Qatar this week. In Saudi Arabia, he is likely to discuss important issues with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
According to Express News, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will leave for the Saudi capital Riyadh tomorrow, where he will participate in the “Riyadh Investment Forum 2024”. Later, the Prime Minister will visit Qatar on October 31. During Shahbaz Sharif’s visit to Doha, Pakistan-Qatar relations will be discussed.
The Prime Minister will also represent Pakistan in Coop 29. Shahbaz Sharif will attend the conference in Azerbaijan on November 11.
He will be on an official visit to Saudi Arabia to attend the 8th edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII) to be held in Riyadh from October 29 to 30. Along with the prime minister, important ministers of the cabinet will also join.
According to the spokesperson of the Foreign Office, the Future Investment Initiative is an important platform for various countries, participating countries in the conference can demonstrate their economic strength, attract foreign investment, and dialogue for a sustainable future, the theme of this year’s FII. “Limitless Horizons: Investing Today, Building Tomorrow”, the conference will promote investment on key global issues such as artificial intelligence, robotics, education, energy, space, finance, health and sustainability.

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister is likely to hold important bilateral talks with the Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman and other top Saudi officials. Economic and strategic partnership between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia will be discussed in the meeting, bilateral cooperation in economic, energy and defense sectors will be expanded during the visit.
In addition, the Prime Minister will also meet world leaders and business personalities participating in the 8th edition of the FII conference.
