The government has once again increased the price of petrol and diesel by Rs 26.77 per liter.

According to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the government has increased the price of petroleum products for the next 15 days.

According to the notification, the price of high-speed diesel has been increased by Rs 26.77 per liter, after which the price of diesel per liter has been fixed at Rs 380.19.

Similarly, petrol has also been made expensive by Rs 26.77 per liter and the new price of petrol has become Rs 393.33 per liter.

The new prices of petroleum products announced by the government will be applicable for one week from April 25.

The Federal Minister for Petroleum said that due to regional tensions, the price of oil is increasing once again in the global market. Due to the pressure of rising oil prices and agreements with global partners, the government is having to take steps to transfer the burden of the increase in oil prices.

He said that in view of these circumstances, the price of diesel is being increased by Rs 26.77 and the price of petrol by Rs 26.77 for the next week. As much as possible, the government has tolerated the increase in the prices of petroleum products at the global level.

The Minister for Petroleum said that all provincial governments, including the federal government, have given a historic relief package to the people. He prays that progress is made soon in achieving regional peace and relief can be provided to the people in the prices of petroleum products.
