KASUR/LAHORE: Six persons were killed and an equal number of others were injured in road accidents in Kasur and Lahore on Sunday.
According to details, at least three people died and five others were injured in collision between tractor trolley and rickshaw here on Sunday.
Police said that the accident took place at Chunnian Road where a rickshaw heading towards Allabad was hit by an over speeding tractor trolley coming from opposite direction. As a result of accident three persons identified as Sajid, Zeeshan and Amanat died on the spot while five others sustained serious wounds.
The rescue personnel rushed the scene of accident and shifted the injured to hospital where according to medics their condition was also critical.
Three dead as truck hits auto-rickshaw in Lahore In Lahore, at least three people died and another was injured when an over speeding truck hit an auto-rickshaw on Sunday.
Police said that at Ring Road in Defence Phase VIII of Lahore, an over speeding truck knocked down an auto-rickshaw. As a result, three rickshaw riders died on the spot in the accident while another sustained injuries.
The bodies and injured were shifted to General Hospital Lahore for medico-legal formalities while the police after registering a case against the truck driver have started his search.
