FAISALABAD: Robbers gunned down a woman and injured her daughter upon resistance while traveling in an auto-rickshaw here on Sunday.
According to details, armed robbers stopped an auto-rickshaw in Dijikot area ofFaisalabad and tried to snatch purse and other valuables from women traveling in it.
Upon resistance the robbers opened straight fire killing a woman on the spot and injuring her young daughter and fled after looting the cash and other valuables. The body and injured were shifted to hospital while the police after registering a case into the incident have started search for the robbers.
