Peshawar: The Leader of the Opposition in the Senate, Shibli Faraz, is still undergoing treatment in the hospital due to heart problems, doctors have started considering his open heart surgery.

According to Express News, the PTI leader has been undergoing treatment in the hospital for two days, party and other political leaders are coming to visit him.

Hospital sources say that doctors are also considering open heart surgery for Shibli Faraz, some tests of Shibli Faraz are being awaited, the results of these tests take time, further treatment will be decided in light of them.

According to hospital sources, it is currently difficult to perform any kind of procedure due to Shibli Faraz’s high blood pressure, Shibli Faraz has a muscle bridge on one of the main arteries of her heart, due to the problem in the arteries, she also has heart pain, there is a risk of heart attack due to blockage in the arteries, the problem of muscle bridge occurs in one out of thousands of patients.

According to hospital sources, Shibli Faraz has been advised complete rest by doctors. Shibli Faraz is 67 years old and has been a heart patient for seven years. He has undergone angiography three times in Islamabad.

It should be noted that a team of ten expert doctors from the Peshawar Institute of Cardiology is treating him. Shibli Faraz was brought to the hospital two days ago due to pain late at night.
