Pakistani music industry folk singer Sanam Marvi has revealed that she faces criticism for performing Hajj and Umrah.

Singer Sanam Marvi recently participated in a private TV program where she openly spoke about the criticism she received for her association with the world of showbiz and the incidents that happened to her.

Sanam Marvi said that whenever she goes to religious pilgrimages and performs Hajj and Umrah, she is severely criticized and people talk negatively on social media.

The singer said that people criticize her and say that she has been singing songs all year and is now performing Hajj and Umrah. While someone says that she is performing Umrah now and will go back and sing songs. Sanam Marvi said that why don’t the critics understand that this is our profession and this is our source of livelihood.

She said that she thinks it is better to remain silent on such trolling because they do not understand how much dedication we do our work.
