No chance of midterm elections, claims Siraj
KHAIRPUR/ SUKKUR: JI Chief Siraj-ul-Haq observed on Monday that there are no chances of mid-term elections in the country.
Siraj-ul-Haq, addressing a rally in Khairpur, said that Bangladesh was separated from Pakistan due to the wrong policies of the rulers. He added that there will be threats our security if such a system prevails for 15 years.
He said that PM Nawaz Sharif, on his tour to the United States, did not demand the release of Dr. Aafia Siddiqui. He asked that how can a ruler protect the country when he cannot save the daughter and sister of the country.
The JI Chief has appealed the masses to participate in the party’s rally at Minar-e-Pakistan in Lahore on 21st November.
Later, addressing a rally in Sukkur, he has said there was no difference between the ruling, past so-called democratic government and dictatorship as both had rendered irreparable loss to the country.
He was addressing public meetings on the third day of his Sindh tour during which he also talked to the media.
He said that the same class had been in power in the country for the last 67 years. There was no difference whether the PPP was in power, ruling party or it was martial law. He said the VIP culture and their rule had destroyed the country.
He said the incumbent government had no agenda for the common man and he did not visualize the federal and the provincial governments completing their term. The Sindh government had done nothing to control lawlessness and for public welfare, thus it was paying way for its own disaster, he added.
Sirajul Haq said that the PPP had been in power in Sindh for the last decade yet PPP leadership was seen shedding tears over the plight of the masses.
