RAWALPINDI (DNA) -: The President Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) Syed Asad Mashadi has said that government should provide relief to the affectees of Metro Bus System project in Income Tax this year.
He said that as businesses have been destroyed due to the said project and business community is sacrificing for the betterment of the masses and the City. He urged the government to understand the problems faced the by the businessmen and must provide relief in submitting income tax returns for all affectees in current year. He stated this while talking to a traders’ delegation of Murree Road at his office on Thursday. Senior Vice President Mian Humayun Parvez and Vice President Saboor Malik were also present on the occasion. Mashadi said that business community support MBS project and bear financial loss for masses comfort and now it is the responsibility of government to address the issues faced by the businessmen community. He said that to regain the momentum of businesses government must announce relief in income tax this year. He further said that Rawalpindi Chamber and all the traders associations of City and Cantt will assist the affected businessmen to reestablish their business and we demand government to put its share for rehabilitation of all affectees by giving them special incentives.
