The Rawalpindi court has registered a case against the SHO for the illegal raid on the house and ordered his arrest.
According to the petitioner, SHO Thana Rata Amaral along with the police raided the houses of Zahida Bibi and her two sons. The police took away valuables including jewelery from the three houses.
Additional Sessions Judge Waseem Anjum said that the police cannot conduct an illegal raid on a citizen’s house. A case should be registered and all the police personnel including the SHO who entered the house should be arrested.
