Fawad Chaudhry, the PTI senior vice president, announced that the party will host a public demonstration in Jhelum today to demand “true independence.”
According to a picture posted by Fawad, a former federal minister, the jalsa will start at 3pm in Syed Zamir Jaffari Stadium, Jhelum. People did not like the announcement.
On Twitter, journalists, legislators, and other individuals criticised the decision, emphasising that the party ought to have cancelled it in view of the devastating rains that have hit the nation.It was referred to as “shameless” and “tone deaf” by some.
