ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik met Polish Ambassador to Pakistan Maciej Pisarski, during which they discussed enhancing bilateral cooperation in oil and gas exploration and minerals. Federal Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik said that the success of Polish firm PG ING in Pakistan’s energy sector is an example for foreign investment and highlighted the international interest in Pakistan’s oil, gas and mineral reserves. He said that the government has made reforms to create a conducive environment for foreign investors, Pakistan can benefit from Poland’s expertise in mining, especially copper and coal. On this occasion, the Polish Ambassador said that they are working on strengthening exploration, technology transfer and investment opportunities between Pakistan and Poland.
