“Pearl String of Saddozais” by Sabir Hussain Sabir launched at RAC

RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi Arts Council in collaboration with literary society Sukhanwar arranged a book launching ceremony of the book “Pearl String of Saddozais” written by world renowned writer and Urdu & English language poet Sabir Hussain Sabir. Famous social worker Sheikh Mukhtar Ahmed presided over the ceremony while Former Chief Justice Islamabad High Court Sardar Muhammad Aslam and Sardar Muhammad Ishaq Advocate were chief guests. President Sukhanwar Aftab Zia anchored the launching ceremony while Resident Director RAC Waqar Ahmed welcomed distinguished guests. The speakers who threw light on life and work of Sabir Hussain Sabir were Azhar Gillani, Akhtar Parveen, Dr Sardar Muhammad Kaleem, Dr Mazhar Qayyum, Abid Khurshid, Dr Zahid Hassan Chughtai, Maulana Abdul Kareem, Sabir Hussain Sabir, Dr Maqsood Jafferi, Sardar Muhammad Aslam, Sardar Muhammad Ishaq and Sheikh Mukhtar Ahmed Islahi. The speakers addressing at the occasion termed the book such a kind of document which has been planned in scientific way and described the facts about Sadozai tribe. Resident Director RAC Waqar Ahmed in his statement said that Pearl String of Saddozais is a great gift for the students of history.
