Pakistan Army inducts modern helicopters, Field Marshal stresses importance of civil-military coordination

Rawalpindi: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has reiterated the unwavering commitment of the Pakistan Army to safeguard national sovereignty and territorial integrity and stressed the importance of national unity and civil-military harmony.

According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir visited the Multan Garrison. He was warmly welcomed by the Corps Commander Multan. He was briefed on the operational preparedness of the formation and ongoing training activities at the Corps Headquarters, on which the Field Marshal expressed satisfaction over the high standard of preparedness and praised the exceptional morale, professionalism and combat skills of the soldiers.

According to the ISPR, the Field Marshal also met with prominent academicians and members of civil society in Multan Cantonment and stressed the importance of national unity, civil-military harmony and a comprehensive national strategy to combat hybrid threats and promote social harmony.

Addressing the troops, the Field Marshal reiterated the unwavering resolve of the Pakistan Army to protect national sovereignty and territorial integrity, saying that Pakistan’s national sovereignty and territorial security will be defended at all costs.

He said that unity of the entire nation is indispensable to deal with the hybrid threats of the present era, and the Pakistan Army is fully prepared to maintain a decisive edge even in the changing war environment.

He termed the ongoing training activities of the Pakistan Army as a matter of pride and said that this readiness further strengthens the ability to give a befitting reply to the enemy.

According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir presided over the induction ceremony of the latest attack helicopters Z-10ME attack helicopters joining the Pakistan Army Aviation and also observed the firepower capability of the newly inducted Z-10ME helicopters at the Muzaffargarh Field Firing Ranges.

The new helicopter to be inducted into the Pakistan Army Aviation is the latest, capable of hitting targets accurately in all weather conditions and at any time of the night. This helicopter is equipped with advanced radar, electronic warfare and night strike capabilities.

It was also stated that the induction of this advanced system is an important milestone towards modernizing aviation. This helicopter will significantly enhance the army’s ability to operate against air and ground targets.
