The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has set a hearing date for K-proposal Electrics for a Rs. 4.211 per unit monthly fuel fee adjustment for August 2022.The hearing is scheduled on September 29, 2022.
In a request, K-Electric sought to raise Rs. 7.21 billion (impact) in August through a fuel charge adjustment (FCA) of Rs. 4.211 per unit. This is in conformity with the authority’s ruling on K-Multi-Year Electric’s Tariff (MYT) petition, which was dated May 22, 2019.
The MYT determination established a monthly and quarterly procedure in MYT. The following topics will be covered during the hearing:

Does K-Electric follow the merit order while dispatching its power plants and purchasing power from outside sources?
