ISLAMABAD: Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Speaker National Assembly has extended his heartiest felicitations to all Pakistani living within the country and abroad on the auspicious occasion of 68th Independence Day. In his message to the nation on this auspicious occasion, the Speaker said that independent Pakistan is a special blessing from Allah and now it is the responsibility of the people of this country to make it strong and prosperous.
The Speaker said that this day reminds us peerless sacrifices and endeavors of the Muslims of the subcontinent to achieve independent homeland. “While celebrating the Independence Day, it is incumbent upon us to follow the Quaid’s guiding principles of Unity, Faith and Discipline make Pakistan a strong and a prosperous democratic country where will of the people, equality, justice and brotherhood reign supreme “he said. The Speaker said that the founding fathers of the nation envisioned Pakistan as democratic country therefore, on this auspicious occasion let us resolve to work hard to strengthen democracy in Pakistan. He called upon the nation to work together for strengthening of democracy, empowerment of people and progress of the country and sit aside our mutual differences to get a rightful place in comity of the nations.
