Associating the Palestinian Liberation War with terrorism is naive, Army Chief
Islamabad: Army Chief General Asim Munir has said that the international community should stop the use of force by the Israeli forces on Palestine, the capital of Palestine is Al-Quds al-Sharif and it is unwise to link its liberation war with terrorism, according to ISPR. Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir met Palestinian Ambassador to Pakistan Ahmad Jawad Rabi and expressed his condolences over the martyrdom of Palestinians in the ongoing war in Gaza. There is deep concern over the indiscriminate killings, continuous attacks on the civilian population, educational and aid workers, and hospitals are condemnable, the forced eviction of Palestinians from Gaza is a clear crime against humanity. Reiterated Pakistan’s principled support for an independent state of Palestine and said that the capital of Palestine is al-Quds al-Sharif, the latest wave of violence in Gaza is the result of repression, continuous human rights violations, and the state-sponsored desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque. Yes, it would be unwise to link this war with terrorism. The army chief said that at this critical juncture, it is important that the international community acknowledges the human tragedy caused by the disproportionate and illegal use of force by the Israeli Defense Forces. Act to end as soon as possible, and refrain from encouraging the continuation of atrocities in these flagrant violations of human rights.
