Karachi: Mayor Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab has strongly criticized the delay in the Green Line and Red Line projects and expressed fears that they may not be completed by 2035.

Mayor Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab, in a statement, demanded from PIDCL to give a date for the completion of the aforementioned projects, to satisfy KMC with the deadline for repairing Karachi’s roads, repairing footpaths and completing the project.

Murtaza Wahab said that the 2017 NOC has not been completed yet, the citizens of Karachi are facing problems. The local leadership should be involved in the completion of the projects, because problems worsen the situation in the city.

Murtaza Wahab said that in the past, we faced problems due to Nagan Chowrangi and KDA Chowrangi on the Green Line. Currently, the public is facing many problems due to the Red Line on University Road.
