– Public and goods transport has been allowed to enter Islamabad, as the federal capital’s administration eases earlier restrictions and restores movement across the city.
According to an official announcement, all bus terminals across the city have been reopened, with the exception of the Faizabad Bus Terminal, which will remain closed until further notice. The decision signals a partial return to routine transport operations, while certain key hubs remain under restrictions.
The move comes alongside a broader set of administrative measures focused on austerity and energy conservation, prompting the district administration to revise operating hours for various business sectors. A new schedule has been issued, setting clear timelines for commercial activity across the capital.
