.In order to observe relief efforts in Balochistan, which has recently been devastated by rain-induced floods, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Quetta on Monday for a day-long visit.
The Minister for Defence Production, Israr Tareen, the Minister for Information, Marriyum Aurangzeb, the Minister for Housing and Works, Maulana Abdul Wasay, the Minister for Narcotics Control, Shahzain Bugti, the Minister of State for Energy, Mohammad Hashim Notezai, the MNA for Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal, Salahuddin Ayubi, and the Chairman of the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA),
The NDMA chairman updated the premier about the relief and rescue efforts taking place in Balochistan during their journey to Quetta.
Following his arrival in the provincial capital, the prime minister will receive a thorough briefing on the situation. He will also speak to media representatives and tour the relief camps that have been put up in the Khushnoob neighbourhood of the Qila Saifullah district.
The president is also anticipated to travel to Chaman’s flood-affected communities.
While the rest of the nation and Balochistan were both devastated by flash floods and torrential rains, the prime minister was visiting.
The death toll in Balochistan rose to 130 on Sunday as a result of rain-related accidents, which claimed at least two lives.
