Peshawar: The decision to convene the meeting of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly has not been made yet.
According to sources, Governor KP Ghulam Ali has contacted the Chief Secretary regarding the Assembly meeting, but the Chief Secretary has shown ignorance regarding the Assembly meeting.
Sources say that Governor Ghulam Ali has gone out of the city for 4 days due to personal engagements, in view of which a decision has not yet been taken to convene a meeting of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly.

According to the sources, there is no possibility of convening the meeting of the Provincial Assembly for the next 5 days, a large number of the members of the Assembly are present in Peshawar, including the Speaker’s House.
It should be noted that it is a constitutional requirement to call a 21-day intra-assembly meeting after the election and according to the constitution, 21 days will be completed on February 29.
