Deputy Prime Minister of Pakistan and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has said that Gaza has become a pile of rubble and the ceasefire efforts of Egypt and America are a ray of hope.
He said this while addressing the OIC Foreign Ministers’ Conference held in Gaza. Deputy Prime Minister of Pakistan Ishaq Dar said that the OIC Foreign Ministers are grateful to the Two Holy Mosques and the Saudi Crown Prince for hosting the conference, and the OIC Secretary General took immediate steps for a special meeting.
Ishaq Dar said that today Gaza is going through its darkest period, 48,000 innocent Palestinians, including women and children, have been martyred. Gaza’s infrastructure has been destroyed, schools, places of worship, houses, and commercial centers have become piles of rubble. The ceasefire efforts by Egypt and America are a ray of hope.
He said that the current situation in Palestine demands an immediate response from the Muslim world. Pakistan values the ceasefire initiative in Gaza. The end of the uncertain situation is possible only with permanent peace. Humanitarian aid has been stopped in Gaza once again. Such cruelty is also highly condemnable in the holy month of Ramadan because stopping the delivery of aid is a war crime and the survival of the people of Gaza is possible only with the delivery of this aid. The ceasefire must be fully implemented for the delivery of aid.
The Deputy Prime Minister of Pakistan said that the Israeli desire to restart the war and oppress must be stopped by uniting. Peace will not be possible as long as Israeli measures continue in the West Bank.
