Abdul Qadir Patel, the health minister, issued a statement in which he claimed that the government was taking many steps to curb the rise in cases and urged people to heed its recommendations for avoiding the illness, including wearing face masks and avoiding close contact with others. He stated that the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) has been holding meetings every day to review the viral situation in the nation. However, we urge the general population to practice prudence and strictly adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
According to a representative for the ministry of health, comprehensive immunization, mask wear, and frequent hand washing are among the recommendations made by the NCOC for government offices. The spokeswoman stated that social distance must be preserved in workplaces and must be guaranteed throughout all religious activities, including prayer. Shaking hands should be avoided, and hand sanitizers should be available in the restrooms and office doors.
