LAHORE, Oct 03 (INP): Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-chairman, Asif Ali Zardari has said that the country must not suffer in the battle of power.
Talking to media after meeting Sirajul Haq, Asif Ali Zardari said the rallies being held all over the country are not in love of anyone and suggested the Pakistani politicians to be mature as the world is changing.
Zardari feared that some ‘devil’ could take advantage of the in-fight of the politicians. He said East Pakistan was separated because of ‘our weaknesses’.
He said the only way to save Pakistan is if all political forces work together.
The PPP co-chairman said his party has an agenda to make Pakistan a stable state, but no one can realize this alone and collective decisions are needed in this regard. He vowed to meet all political figures of Pakistan “so that no one could harm Pakistan”.
“Some leading figures are holding countrywide rallies, but these rallies are being held due to their own personal grievances. Country must not suffer in the battle of power”, said the former President.
He said that his party only seeks the resolution of issues in the country.
