Dictators supported MQM, Says Imran

MQM Sans Altaf should be allowed to operate

ISLAMABD: Altaf’s MQM should be banned and should not be allowed to work, however MQM sans Altaf should be allowed to operate as political party. It was stated by Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf Imran Khan, he expressed these views while talking exclusively in renowned program of Roze TV ‘Sachi Baat’ with Sardar Khan Niazi on Tuesday.

Imran Khan said that in the past MQM has been allegedly involved in suspicious activities and this time its chief has crossed red line by chanting anti-state slogans. He said that if MQM distances itself from Altaf Hussain then it deserves to be given chance to operate in politics.

Answering a query about PTI’s new wave of protests Imran said rigid behaviour of government over legitimate demands of investigation has forced us to choose option of protests and we are left with no choice but to come on the roads. “We have knocked the doors of the Parliament, Supreme Court and Election Commission and we are thinking to go to Supreme Court once again”, he maintained.

He said, purpose of his struggle is to make Prime Minister accountable, at the moment PM think he is not answerable to anyone. Imran Khan invited all political parties to join his struggle to show solidarity and love for Pakistan. While talking about the performance of National Accountability Bureau has said that no one has confidence on it and it has lost credibility. He said that revelations of Panama Leaks should be investigated through Federal Board of Revenue. He said that names of PM’s family have been mentioned in the Panama Papers; hence it is the moral duty of the members of Sharif family to present them for accountability. People of Pakistan deserve the right to know that how Prime Minister’s family holds assets of billions in foreign accounts. “We are in opposition and raising voice from last five months but government is very inflexible in its stance and using delaying tactics regarding investigation of Panama Papers.

While discussing about the reforms in FATA Imran said at first step local government system should be introduced in FATA then it can be merged into KPK.
