PESHAWAR: In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the juvenile accused who killed his sister-in-law was sentenced to 25 years in prison and a fine of one million rupees. On 9 January 2019, the child protection court of Peshawar heard the case of the woman who was killed in Matni police station. The prosecutor told the court that the accused Saifur Rehman had killed his sister-in-law on verbal repetition and then confessed his crime during the interrogation after the arrest. After the confession of the accused, Judge Muhammad Hanif of Child Protection Court Peshawar sentenced him to 25 years imprisonment and a fine of one million rupees. The case of the incident was registered in the complaint filed by the woman’s family.
