FAISALABAD, dec 30 (INP) Faisalabad waste management company has made special arrangements for maintaining cleanliness around mosques and on the routes of the Eid Millad-un-Nabi (PBUH) rallies.
For the purpose, a meeting was organized at FWMC Complex that was chaired by Managing Director FWMC Amjad Ali Awan, On the occasion MD FWMC said that he wished the whole Muslim world on the delightful day of Eid Millad-un-Nabi (PBUH) from the core of his heart. He assured that FWMC will maintain cleanliness in the city of Faisalaband and particularly on the routes of rallies and around mosques. He said that FWMC has made special arrangements and have taken special measures to implement the cleanliness plan made for Eid Millad-un-Nabi (PBUH).
Managers Operations Dawood Makki and Muhammad Ijaz briefed that more than 3000 field staff shall be deployed to ensure the cleanliness on Eid Millad-un-Nabi (PBUH). They said that a monitoring team has also been set up consisting of 8 chief zonal officers, 30 zonal officers, 113 supervisors and 8 assistant managers operations who shall be responsible to keep the city clean and tidy under direct supervision of managers operations and managing director FWMC. They said that the plan has also been shared with the CDGF and FWMC’s staff has been deployed at the complaint cell in the DCO office so that all the complaints regarding cleanliness could be forwarded to the relevant staff appointed by FWMC for the timely redresser.
Manager Transport told that a special fleet of vehicles has also been deputed which includes, 24 dumpers, 10 water sprinklers, 4 mechanical sweepers, 10 loaders, and 24 arm role. He said that the fleet will be responsible of mechanical sweeping, washing, water sprinkling of roads and ultimately collection and dumping of the waste. He said that 1000 kg of lime stone will also be thrown on the roads after sweeping and water sprinkling.
