QUETTA: At least two security personnel were martyred and more than two dozen others injured in powerful bomb blast here on Tuesday.
Police said that the incident took place in Double Road area of Quetta when militants targeted a vehicle of security forces with remote controlled bomb while it was passing through Nala Tochi. The explosion damaged the vehicle adversely due to which two security personnel embraced martyrdom on the spot while 25 others sustained injureds. Several shops located in surroundings and four vehicles parked near the site of explosion were also damaged.
The security personnel immediately rushed to the site and cordoned off the road. The bodies and injured were shifted to hospital for medico-legal formalities. The Bomb Disposal Squad reached the site of blast and collected the evidences. Police said that blasts seems to be carried out by the Baloch separatist organizations, however, no banned organization or group has claimed the responsibility of the attacks. INP
