Karachi: Details regarding the health of acid attack victim Dr. Mah Noor have been revealed.

The first surgery of Dr. Mah Noor, a woman injured in an acid attack in Quetta, has been successfully completed at a private hospital in Karachi, during which dead skin was removed from the affected areas.

According to Dr. Mah Noor’s family, her condition is better than before after the operation, however, the risk of infection remains due to the acid wounds, in view of which she has been kept in isolation.

He said that surgeries are being performed in stages, which include removing the affected skin and transplanting new skin (skin grafting).

The first surgery in this regard was performed on Tuesday, which lasted for more than 8 hours.

According to hospital sources, plastic surgeons have completed the minor grafting process on Dr. Mah Noor’s face, while no major surgery has been performed at present.

According to the team of doctors, the patient’s condition is being continuously monitored and further treatment will be continued as needed.

According to sources, Dr. Mah Noor underwent a complete medical examination for the third time, which included plastic surgeons as well as eye surgeons.

During this time, various medical tests were also conducted. The Balochistan and Sindh governments are in constant contact with the affected doctor and his family and the treatment process is being monitored.
