The second wedding celebrations of Junaid Safdar, son of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, have begun in full swing today, which has garnered special attention in showbiz and political circles as well as on social media.

Junaid Safdar has tied the knot with Shanzay Ali Rohail, granddaughter of senior PML-N leader and former member of the National Assembly Sheikh Rohail Asghar. The wedding ceremonies will be held on January 16, 17 and 18, 2026, at Jati Umra, where traditional rituals like mehendi, baraat and walima will be performed.

According to reports, the mehendi ceremony of Junaid Safdar and Shanzay Ali Rohail has been held at Jati Umra tonight, in which the family and close relatives of the Sharif family and Sheikh Rohail Asghar family are participating. Renowned dancer Wahab Shah has also been invited to the mehendi ceremony, who will also perform at the function.

A banquet has been arranged for about 350 guests at the event, while traditional and indigenous dishes are also being prepared by the Sharif family to provide a rich arrangement of exquisite flavors to the guests.

It should be noted that this is Junaid Safdar’s second marriage, his previous marriage was to the daughter of renowned businessman Saif-ur-Rehman, which ended in divorce in 2023.
