The Sikh community has thanked the Field Marshal and the Pakistan Army for the relief and rescue operation of the Pakistan Army in the flood-affected area of Daska.
According to Express News, like other areas of the Punjab province, Sialkot is also severely affected by the floods. Due to the severe floods, a large number of the Sikh community of Daska were also trapped in the floods.
The soldiers of the Pakistan Army carried out immediate relief and rescue operations and also shifted the Sikh community to safe places. So far, 96 people of the Sikh community have been rescued by the Pakistan Army and taken to a safe place.
The members of the Sikh community appreciated the timely relief operations of the Pakistan Army and praised the measures.
Members of the Sikh community said, “Whenever we have faced difficult times, our Pakistan Army has stood by us, for which we are grateful.”
A Sikh citizen said, “I would like to thank the Army Chief for the timely rescue and relief operation. Our holy book, which is in Baba Gurung, was even sent by helicopter, but it is safe.”
Another citizen said, “Despite the water aggression that India has unleashed in the darkness of night, our morale is high. Pakistan gave a befitting reply to India in the war as well.”
A Sikh citizen said, “I would like to thank the Government of Pakistan, the Government of Punjab and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir in particular. There was no loss of life due to the immediate operation of the Pakistan Army. I salute their courage.”
